My oldest son just turned 9 and as I scrolled through pictures of past birthday parties I couldn’t help but smile at all the cakes I have made over the years.
No, I am not a trained baker but I do find so much joy taking a theme and creating a cake to go with it. I hope one day my sons will look back at the birthday cake tradition I have started for them and appreciate the special cakes I created.
